November 17, 2013

Well, this will be one of the last blog posts for myself. Due to the super typhoon, I will be going home in 2 weeks. I should be home around December 4th or 5th. It's a little sudden and so my emotions are a bit mixed. I've missed all of you a lot, but I don't really know how to say goodbye to the culture, people and everything else I've been doing for the last 2 years. But none the less I'm happy to be home for the holidays. I'm safe by the way, so is my area. But since the missionaries from the affected areas are being relocated and we have no space, I will be home in 2 weeks. I'm still doing great here and giving it my all till I go home. See you soon and I love you guys!

October 6, 2013

I apologize for not doing this weekly. I've been busy and this is usually the last thing I get to when I get to email. I'm enjoying my current area and my current companion. The area is beautiful and The people here are very kind. We baptized an 85 year old man the other day named Eugenio. I've been still working hard and doing the best I can before I get home, which is in a little over 3 months. Pretty hard for me to believe... Anyways, you should email before I get back, it'd be pretty legit of you to do so. It's down below. I'm still healthy and happy. Rainy season is almost to a close, and yep! I'll talk to you guys later. Love you!

August 18, 2013

Okay just a quick update. We had a pretty strong typhoon this last week, but I'm okay! It's now raining everyday. I enjoy the fact that it's a much nicer temperature out now. I also got sick, but I'm fine now. It only lasted about a day. We've been doing great over here. Lot of work and it's been fun! Lot's of people progressing and lot's of service that we've been doing for the people here in our branch. We've just been really busy. I'm sorry I haven't been writing every Monday on the blog. It's been a bit hectic on my end recently and it's sometimes the last thing I have time for (like right now), but I still do care about all of you and let you know that I love you and hope your all okay. Even though I'm going home soon I still appreciate the letters and everything else. I guess I'm fine with giving this out now, if you want to write to me directly in email here you go!nathanael.schult@myldsmail.net. I might not be able to write you back right away, but there ya go!

August 5, 2013

Just a quick update today due to the fact I have almost no time left on the computer right now. I'm in a new area now. It's nice, I just haven't been in such a small branch for a while. I'm doing good, I was sick a couple weeks ago, but it's gone now. I'm still teaching and working like crazy. Coming home completely exhausted every night is a good feeling. I've found out I will be home in January most likely so I'll see you all then. Take care and keep writing! Love you guys.

June 23, 2013

Sorry I have not written in a while. I've just been busy. There have been a lot of changes here in the mission since We are now having the mission split. My address has now changed only from Baguio Philippines mission to Urdaneta Philippines mission. I have now served in 2 missions. Sweet! My companion went home. Makes me feel old in the mission since it will only be 6 months till my return. It's crazy how time flies... I don't know how I feel about it. Well, anyways, I'll write more about whats been going on next week. Just know that I love you guys and hope you have a great week.

Mother's Day Post

Well, I got transferred! It's nice as I no longer have to take care of contracts. That was way stressful. I'm now in Urdaneta mission side of the boarder. Meaning I most likely will no longer be in Baguio mission by the end of next transfer. My address WILL be changing. So keep your eyes out for when it does. Do not send me letters during June until I give you my new address or it may never get to me. I got a letter from Skylar this week. Thanks! Rainy season has started over here meaning I'm taking a shower almost all day everyday. Yay! It's not super hot anymore. Well, that's about it this week. Love you guys, over and out.

May 5, 2013

This week was extremely busy. We had two days where we could work due to meetings in Baguio and meetings in Urdaneta. It was crazy, but nice. I received letters from both Art (thanks for the artwork!) and Suzy this week. I'll send out replies next week! We've been working hard due to the mission split coming up. We have to get it ready for the new mission president in 6 weeks. That'll be quite a task! I'm pretty sure that will be my last transfer in this area. As a heads up, if you have a letter to send me, do it now. If you receive a letter from me in June, wait to send a reply until July, my address will be changing and I may not get you letter. Anyways, love you guys! I'm way exhausted! Take it easy and have a great week! Happy early mother's day. Remember the words of Mr. T "Mother there is no other like mother, so treat her right!"

April 20, 2013

I'm sorry first off for not writing anything for the past couple weeks. I've been pretty busy. For the last couple weeks we've been doing service projects, teaching, lots of meetings, finding apartments and houses for new missionaries and preparing the area for the new incoming mission president. Needless to say we've had a lot on our plate, so sorry for the delay, but there is my excuse! I got letters from family, B3 primary/Finigans, Shannon, and Brandon. I will try to send out letters as soon as I can, but please be patient. Also I'm sorry for the delay in uploading photos. I'm starting to get on it right now. There should be 20 up hopefully by the end of today. Anyways, I thank all you guys for the love and support I really appreciate it. The other day it kinda felt like I jumped 3 days into the future when I saw the date. I've been gone 16 months now. I can't believe it at all. Know that I'm working hard, healthy, happy and all that other good stuff. Love you guys and have a legit week!

Easter 2013

I have a new companion this week. His name is Elder Matthews. He's a really nice guy. Nerdy like me which is great! The week was pretty busy. We did a service project building a house for a recent convert. We also had a baptism this week. It's starting to get to be summer over here. It's way humid and hot over here right now, like when I first got to the Philippines. Pretty soon after this we get back to good old rainy season! Walking through waist high water and all that good stuff. Anyways, have a happy Easter, I love you guys!

March 24, 2013

Woo! It's been a full week. We've had a meeting about everyday. We've found out that the new mission home area will be located in the area I'm currently serving and thus we've had a lot of things to take care of this week in terms of finding larger housing, preparing the ward, along with teaching and doing service projects. In simplest terms, BUSY. However, it was nice. I enjoyed it and I'm always glad to be working hard. I got a letter from Jason this week, thanks dude! This week will include transfers, I'm pretty positive I'm staying in the area I'm currently serving in. But with how many changes are going on with the mission split in July it's VERY hard to tell right now. I'm sorry I haven't uploaded any photos recently. My USB drive has kinda acted up a bit. I'll try to upload again sometime soon. Anyways, I love all you guys. Have a great week and hope to hear from you guys soon!

March 17, 2013

I'm sorry I didn't write last week, I didn't have to much to say! I've been busy as always and time is flying SO fast. First off thanks Suzy, Tony and Burbank 3rd ward for the letters. It means a lot to me! I'll send out your replies as soon as I can. Probably next Monday or so. I'm pretty busy now so it's harder to write than usual. I'm hoping all of you had a great St. Patricks day. I'll be eating some corned beef somtime this week in order to celebrate my Irish pride. We did a lot of community service this week. We worked with cement and made stairs and then worked a marathon. It was pretty busy! But it was nice and enjoyable. Had 5 baptisms this weekend. At the moment I'm completely exhausted. This week will be even busier however, we have a meeting everyday. It's all good! Well anyways, keep writing, I love you guys and listen to some Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly to celebrate being Irish!

March 3, 2013

Well this week was a pretty average week. Busy as always, bit it just means I don't have a whole lot to report. Working hard as always, meetings, etc etc. Lots of people prepping for baptism, lots of service projects, and yep! I'm doing good! Tired as always. Oh and Jimmy I got your letter dude! Thanks, I'll try to send out a reply asap! Love you guys and have a great week!

February 24, 2013

This week was nice. BUsy as always, but good. We did a service project where we were building a house for an investigator right next to a swamp. It was pretty hard, it's not done yet, but it was fun! We should be going back there in a week or two to finish it up. I went back to my last area as well on Friday. It was nice to see some old faces and to see how the area has progressed. We also had a Zone Leader Council meeting this last Wednesday. That was nice! (We got pizza.) In some other news, the mission I'm at right now is splitting into 2. The Baguio Mission and the Urdaneta mission. Currently, I don't know where I want to go yet. If I happen to go to Baguio I will have had 3 mission presidents on my mission. That's definitely above average! That's about it this week. I love you guys and have a great week!

February 17, 2013

This week has been busy. Of course. Curently I'm in Baguio, Woo! It's way nice here. We had zone interviews on Friday which was nice. We had some baptisms, other meetings, funeral to attend, and lots more. But it's good to be busy. I got a dearelder from Shannon. We went to a birthday party on Saturday and they had this pig head that looked way cool. I took a picture. I'm not sure if I'll have time to upload the pictures I took this week right now though. If so just hold out to next week. Anyways, take it easy guys. Later!

February 10, 2013

This week was busy as always, but it went pretty well. We went to a lot of appointments, lots of meetings, and over all got a lot done. This week flew past me in the blink of an eye. I can't believe it's Monday again. People warned me about the last year going by fast. I should have paid more attention to that because it is fast! I love being able to see people making changes in their lives to better themselves and being able to help them with it. This area especially seems to have many. We have a service project coming up this week for one of our investigators. They need to move their house. Not just their stuff, their house. Should be fun and interesting! Anyways, I would say Happy Valentines Day, but I kinda don't like Valentines Day. To be honest, I don't remember what day it's on. I just know it's this week. But I love you guys regardless of if it's a holiday or not. Take it easy! Oh and Ryan I got your card and your letter at the same time. Thanks dude! Till next week, later!

January 17, 2013

Hey there everyone! This week was pretty good. Busy as always, but good! Lots of walking around finding new people and new parts of the area here. My birthday was pretty cool. We got to eat a lot of food. Honestly I think that's about the only thing I was thinking would happen, and I wasn't disappointed. After that day I felt like I was about to explode from how much I ate! I got some letters as well from Skwiss, Suzy and the bishopric. Thanks guys!  I've sent replies in the mail. Currently, we've been doing good. We just work hard every day as usual. Well anyways, I don't have that much else to say... I guess I'll talk to all of you next week, love you guys!

January 27, 2013

Well! This week was interesting! I got transferred, but I'm way close to my last area. Only two areas over! I also got called as a Zone Leader. I basically now take care of not just a district, but a whole zone. We have a few more things to take care of than usual. I still don't really know too much though! I guess I'll find out. My new area is more in the city which is nice. Of course I miss my last area and the people there, but you guys know me! City kid. Many more people out and about instead of going to sleep early in a farming community. I had chili last week. It was SOOOOOO good! It is an amazing, AMAZING food! I got letter's from Krystin and Lisa. Thanks! Anyways. I love you guys! Have a great week.
